ASUS has brought a new gaming smartphone called ASUS ROG Phone 2 to the Indian markets after releasing its other gaming smartphones including Razer 1 and Razer 2. ASUS ROG Phone 2 was launched during an event held in India.

ASUS ROG Phone 2 runs on ROG UI based on Android Pie. The gaming phone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED 10-bit HDR display with 120Hz refresh rate and a screen resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The phone has a 120Hz OLED display panel which makes it be the first smartphone to have this. ASUS Razer series phones i.e. Razer 1 and Razer 2 were having LCD displays.
The phone is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC chipset along with up to 12GB RAM for better performance so that you can enjoy heavy gaming. The company has provided the GameCool 2 second-gen cooling system inside the gaming phone to dissipate heat quickly.
The phone comes with huge battery of 6000mAh for non-stop gameplay and supports 30W HyperCharge fast charge tech. There is also AirTrigger 2 tech support for smoother ultrasonic touch controls and less vibration latency.
The camera department includes a dual-camera setup at the rear side with 48MP primary camera with Sony IMX586 image sensor and a 13MP ultra wide-angle sensor. The front camera is of 24MP.
The phone comes with dual front-facing speakers with DTS:X Ultra. For security, you will get an in-display fingerprint and the phone also supports facial recognition.
ASUS ROG Phone 2 Price & Sale Date
The phone will be available in two storage variants- 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 12GB RAM/512GB storage. The base variant has been priced at Rs 37,999 while the increased storage variant is priced at Rs 57,999.
The pone will go on sale from 30th September via Flipkart. You will also find many other expensive accessories including AeroActive cooler 2, Professional Dock, ROG Kunai gamepad, and TwinView Dock along with ASUS ROG Phone 2.
