The Asus ROG Phone which was announced sometime in June this year has since had it’s trail go cold after creating a buzz on the internet as a must have gaming phone for mobile gamers thanks to it’s features. Things seem to have changed as ASUS, through thier Twitter handle made a teaser post of the launch. In the background of the picture posted by ASUS is the famous ASUS ROG phone and written across the picture is a date – “10.18.2018” with Coming to New York just above the date.

The launch date is 2 weeks from today and 4 days less than the expected release date of 22. If you’ve forgotten the specs the ASUS ROG Phone, lets take our time to refresh your mind. The Gaming device comes with a big 6.0-inch AMOLED display with no Notch and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Inside the device is an overclocked Snapdragon 845 processor, clocking speeds of up to 2.95GHz. For gaming, which most users of this device will be using it for is an adreno 630 GPU, 8GB of RAM and Two storage options of 128GB and 512GB. There have also been rumors of the 4GB RAM version of the Asus gaming but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Other specs includes a USB Type-C port, a hefty 4000mah battery with fast charging 4+ , 12MP + 8MP Dual rear cameras and a single 8MP front facing camera. The device will run on Android 8.1 0reo out of the box with an all new ROG gaming UI on top. All these will set to set you back €1150 (approx $1350).
