Bang & Olufsen launches the Beoplay E8 Special Edition wireless in-ear headphones

Bang & Olufsen announced the Beoplay E8 Special Edition wireless in-ear headphones. This variant of the standard E8 is part of the Special Edition Collection and uses a new finish that also gives the product its name. The E8 Racing Green is inspired by one of the most iconic colors in the world of racing cars – British Racing Green.

The specifications are identical to those of the E8 standard version. The measures are 23 x 20 x 25 mm with a weight of 7 grams for the right headset (master) and 6 grams for the left (slave). Inside there are 5.7 mm electro-dynamic transducers, the frequency response is 20 Hz – 20 kHz and the connectivity uses Bluetooth 4.2 with AAC.

There are two integrated batteries – 85 mAh for the right earphone and 60 mAh for the left earphone. The autonomy is about 4 hours at medium volumeA case that measures 73 x 47 x 33 mm and weighs 45 grams is supplied with the earphonesThe case contains a 365 mAh battery and can offer up to two recharges.

All controls (including volume, music playback and calls) are given via the two touch panels on the earphones. You can then start/stop music playback, answer calls, adjust volume, enable/disable Transparency Mode (adjust isolation from external noise) and activate voice control, compatible with the main virtual assistants such as Siri and Google Assistant. The Beoplay application for Android, iOS and Apple Watch is completed, designed to allow you to customize the reproduction of the music.
