BLU Vivo One Review – One View For All To See

BLU Vivo One is another tangible smartphone to fall off American OEM – BLU’s platform.  The smartphone has a lot of features to uphold its mid-range status. Well,  BLU is known to release a lot of entry-level smartphones, so, mid-range BLU Vivo One is something worthwhile. The GPU controlling its graphics is the PowerVR GE8100 GPU, a not so popular GPU. All the same, let’s dig deep into the BLU Vivo One smartphone as we step into the full review.

Design & Display

The full smartphone body weighing 160 g sports a crisp aluminium alloy and plastic mix material together with 2.5D curved glass. Edges curved roundly and well furnished rear are other attributes of the smartphone’s design. At the rear,  a single camera is seen alongside a dual-LED flash and fingerprint sensor. The BLU logo only appears at this same rear while the dedicated keys on the smartphone take up the right side of the smartphone. Speaking about the top bezel, it appears a bit thick and houses the camera, earpiece and LED flash. Dimensions are 148.4 mm length,  70.1 mm width and 9.8 mm thickness. CPU, OS & Storage

MediaTek MT6739 takes the sole chipset role, and works alongside a Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU.  The CPU clocks at 1.3 GHz and makes full use of the 28 nm process technology. In close contact with this 64-bit CPU, the PowerVR GE8100 GPU controls graphics and clocks at 550 MHz.

The operating system of the device is the Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

The storage of files has a 16 GB ROM to itself, although it can be expanded to 64 GB with the aid of a MicroSD card. Multitasking functions are left out to the 2 GB RAM. Smooth running of apps without lagging is also taken care of by the 2 GB RAM.

Camera

The primary role of BLU Vivo One’s 12 megapixel rear camera is to snap images and record sharp videos. With the help of the dual-LED flash, brightness is concentrated on the images taken in low light areas.

An 8 MP camera at the front handles the snapping of selfies. A LED flash is also supported to brighten images.

Battery

BLU Vivo One is powered by a non-removable Li-Poly 3,000 mAh battery.
