iVooMi i1 – Review
iVooMi i1 is the latest midrange smartphone from iVooMi, the OEM made sure the device comes with all the trending features. It has both the trending bezel-less display and dual rear camera and retails for just $90. Design
Doesn’t look like a midrange smartphone from afar though, looking polished and beautiful. Made from entirely plastic but you won’t have a clue till you feel it up close. When you do, you’ll notice its a bit fat by sides, measuring 9.35 mm in thickness. It doesn’t weigh as much as you might think even with its powerful battery, weighing just 165g.
Swooning over the location of the dual rear camera, which is at the top middle with the fingerprint sensor underneath, while the LED flash sits pretty by the right. Inside, it supports dual nano sims, while outside it’s available in Gold and Black colors.

Display
It looks like a cheaper Galaxy S8 looking at the screen, because of its bezel-less display. Both top and bottom bezels are very minimal, but they are still there, with narrow bezels as well. But the features on the screen is just like the standard midrange screen with the average clarity.
The 5.45-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen on the i1 boasts of a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. With 269.47 pixel per inch density, G+FF highspeed touch, full lamination display and 18:9 FullScreen. The screen on this baby is on another midrange level, reaching 71% screen to body ratio and covered with 2.5D Curved Glass.
Hardware and Software
The system on chip is the MediaTek MT6737 chipset with Quad-Core processor clocking at 1.3GHz. It has a 64-Bit CPU architecture, 28nm process technology and a ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor. The Mali-T720 graphics processor on the i1 reaches a speed of 650 MHz.
For multitasking, there’s a 2GB RAM space with a memory speed of 640 MHz for light apps. While the 16GB internal storage for storing files, and games is upgradeable up to 128GB. iVooMi i1 runs perfectly on Android 7.0 Nougat with modified user interface.
Camera
The 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera isn’t your average midrange cameras, it can capture 4K resolution images. Yes, the dual rear shooters can capture photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. The camera has f/2.0 aperture, a LED flash by the side and other quality features like autofocus, touch focus etc. For selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter for beautiful selfies with no front flash in sight.
Battery
iVooMi i1 houses a 3000mAh removable Li-Ion battery, with no fast battery charging feature. It will take close to 3 hours to fully charge the device, but at least you can change the battery.
