Cubot Max 2 is a 4G Android outdoor smartphone that was announced in the month of February 2019 and released in the month of March 2019. Actually this phone arrived in the market on the very first day of the month. It arrives with a good battery that can last for about three days on a single charge. Cubot is also known for having ample space at the RAM, which this one also boasts of.

The body design of this smartphone is polycarbonate, giving the appearance of an expensive device. Dimensions are 81.55 x 173.05 x 8.94 mm and weight spec is 214 grams. Also, MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762 chipset is found herein and it works with 12nm process technology and 64-bit architecture. Further, the CPU 4 x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex A53, while the GPU is PowerVR GE8320.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

The phone is entitled to 4GB of RAM which is not able to expand more. Also at the internal storage level there is 64GB which is possible to increase. It is possible to increase internal storage space externally to 256GB with micro-SD card. There are six sensors and they are accelerometer, fingerprint, proximity, gyroscope, magnetometer, and ambient light.

Network and Connectivity

Supported network in Cubot Max 2 are GSM, WCDMA, and LTE. That makes it a 4G device. To make things better, there is provision for dual nano/micro SIM card slots.

Other connectivity components are Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and micro USB 2.0. However, there is no NFC, and no HDMI in this device.
