Cubot X19 Specs Review, 4000mAh Battery, Dual Rear Camera, Other Features

In December 2018, there were rumors flying around on the internet about this Cubot X19 but not until the New Year’s Day did the phone get announced. Now, however, we are happy to let you see the full review of the phone’s specification.

But before outlining those, I like to emphasize that this phone is strong in the camera level, although the user should not expect miracle like what is found on Samsung or iPhone devices.

Here in this review, we will look at the design, display, camera, battery, network, price and availability of Cubot X19.

Design and Display

Cubot X19 phone arrives in plastic and metal body design. Dimensions are 155.06 x 74.67 x 9.55 mm and the weight specification is not justified. It comes in black and gradient colors. More than that, this phone has no waterproof protection, but has fingerprint sensor and face recognition technology.

Also, it is a 5.93 inches screen of IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen phone, which comes without a secondary display but with display protection. Further, it sports 2160 x 1080 pixels of screen resolution. Furthermore, there are 16 million colors, and pixel density is 408 PPI. Other features are 2.5D curved glass, 78.6 screen to body ratio, and even more display features.

Camera Features

There is dual primary rear camera setup of 16MP and 2 MP that comes with dual LED 1A flash and FHD recording. Additionally, at the front the selfie camera is 8 MP which comes without LED flash. However, the video performance in the device is 1080p.

The camera features in the phone are as follows- Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR, self-timer, and white balancing, and others.

Hardware & Software

The Cubot X19 also sports Android OS v8.1 Oreo as the operating system. This is planned to upgrade soon to the latest Android. In addition to that, it comes with MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763T chipset which comes with process technology 16nm, 64-bit architecture. Moreover, the CPU is 4 x 2.5 Octa-core Cortex A53, and the GPU is Mali G71 MP2 strong.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

Cubot X19 is entitled to 4GB of RAM which is not able to expand no matter what. At the internal storage level, it has 64GB space. It can be increased to 128GB with micro-SD card. There are six sensors in the phone and they are accelerometer, proximity, light, compass, gyro, and fingerprint.

Network and Connectivity

Cubot X19 is supported by GSM, HSPA and LTE network. So it has 2G, 3G and 4G available for internet connectivity. This makes it a 4G compliant mobile device that has dual hybrid/nano SIM card slot.

As you may expect, network support of Cubot X19 are Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, headphone jack and USB v2.0, Type C. Actually, there is no HDMI, NFC and infrared in this device.

Battery Life Cubot X19

The battery is good at a Li-Po 4000 mAh non-removable that has no wireless charging and no fast charging technology. Talk time and standby time are also not specified herein.
