Doopro P4 is a low-end smartphone to drop off the Doopro platform. The smartphone is entry-level on almost every angle excluding the fine 3,200 mAh battery capacity. Trust me, it is massive for a low-end smartphone. The smartphone got announced and launched this month. So, I’ll urge you to stay with me as I take you through the Doopro P4 Android 3G smartphone.
Design & Display
The smartphone’s body is made up of plastic and it is available in Black, Red, Gray and Blue. The smartphone’s frontal sees very thick bezels on both the top and bottom bezels. The top bezel houses just the front camera, earpiece and light sensor while the bottom bezel houses the soft Android navigation keys. At the rear, the smartphone has a single camera, dual-LED flash and doopro logo. The dimensions of the smartphone are 137.7 mm length x 67.6 mm width x 10 mm thickness. The dedicated buttons on the smartphone are the volume keys and power buttons.

The display area has a small 4.5 inches IPS capacitive touchscreen. The display has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The pixel density pegs 218 PPI. The screen-to-body ratio of the smartphone’s display is 60%. Added to that, the smartphone has 24 bit color depth, 16 million display colors and multi-touch input.
Camera
The rear camera gets a 5 MP sensor to take care of photography. A dual-LED flash is also supported to add brightness to images taken in low light conditions. The front camera has a poor 2 MP sensor that handles selfies. To worsen matters, the front camera lacks a LED flash support. In this camera region, features such as HDR, panorama, geo tagging, face detection, CMOS sensor and auto focus are available.
CPU, OS & Storage
MediaTek MT6580A US the running chipset on the smartphone. The chipset encloses a Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU that clocks at 1.3 GHz. The process is of the 32-bit architecture and utilizes the 28 nm process technology. Meanwhile, the graphics on the smartphone is delivered by an ARM Mali-400 MP2 with two cores. The OS running in the smartphone is the Android Nougat OS. The RAM size of the smartphone is a low 1 GB, well that’s one of the high probabilities of a low-end smartphone. The RAM type is the LPDDR2 type. Storage of files is left to be taken care of by an 8 GB ROM. The storage can even be extended to a meagre 32 GB with the use of a MicroSD card.
