Yesterday, Xiaomi held an event in China, where it unveiled the Mi 10 Youth. However, the main highlight was MIUI 12. Thus, the new interface comes with many features, more consistency, fluid animations, Dark Mode 2.0, extra security, and much more. It is an early launch if we consider that MIUI 11 was revealed six months ago. We now offer the download of MIUI 12 for Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones.

At the compatibility level, the list of devices compatible with MIUI 12 is long. In fact, this is a characteristic of this manufacturer. Take the new versions to a large number of gadgets, including the older ones. However soon after the disclosure, the company published closed beta versions for various devices.

Remember that these versions are closed beta and are intended for Chinese variants, as Xiaomi has suspended the launch of the MIUI Global beta since last year. So TWRP will be needed to bypass the MIUI beta account whitelist. However, this means that you will need to unlock the device and install a supported TWRP recovery image on the device. However, the bootloader unlock process does not void the warranty, as Xiaomi recently clarified. However, it is not an immediate process and a request can take up to 15 days.
