Design
Made from plastic but has a fine finishing to it, the love sign at the back looks cute, but that’s the Energy Phone logo. There’s no fingerprint scanner anywhere at the back, only the rear camera and LED flash that’s visible. No fingerprint scanner by the side as well, only the volume keys and power button.
It measures 9.1 mm in thickness, which is not surprising because of its huge battery capacity. But surprisingly, it weighs 161g, which is very light. The Max 3 Plus is available in Black, Pink and White colors.

Display
No narrow bezels whatsoever here, as the screen stretched side by side in full force. This should give the screen a much taller look in landscape mode, when playing games or watching movies. Oh here’s the fingerprint scanner, sitting pretty comfortable on the bottom bezel, with the selfie camera and other features at the top.
The details on the 5.2-inch IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen should be really sharp. It boasts of 1280×720 pixels in terms od resolution and 256 pixel per inch density. The screen comes with OGS (One Glass Solution) and boasts of an overall 69% screen to body ratio (16:9 Aspect Ratio).
Hardware and Software
The system on chip is the MediaTek MT6735 chip with Octa-core processor offering a smooth performance. The processor reaches a clock speed of 1.3GHz, with 64-bit CPU architecture and 28nm process technology. In terms of graphics, the ARM Mali-T720 MP2 is in charge, fueling everything graphics.
No slow mode on this device, light multitasking shouldn’t hang at at, it has 2GB RAM with a memory speed of 640 MHz. For saving files, games, movies and apps, there’s 16GB storage space available which is upgradeable to 128GB. The Phone Max 3 Plus runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified user interface.
Camera
Don’t underestimate the 13MP rear camera on the Max 3 Plus, it captures 4K resolution images like it is nothing. Take your love for photography to another level by taking images with 4160 x 3120 Pixels in dimension. There’s a LED flash underneath the camera to help out in low light environment, with other quality features as well. Record videos of 1080pixels @ 30 frames per second and take beautiful selfies with the 5MP selfie camera.
Battery
Powering the Energy Phone Max 3 Plus is a 4000mAh removable Li-Po battery, with no fast battery charging feature. With no fast battery charging technology, it might take up to 4 hours to fully charge up the battery.
