Archos Core 55S Review – Budget From Every Angle

Archos Core 55S is an entry level device from French smartphone OEM – Archos. The smartphone sports budget specs from every angle and a budget price tag. Despite that, some specs are much better than its entry-level status. Features such as the Nougat OS, 4G LTE network connectivity and 16 GB ROM are something to actually look up to. Now, let’s check out the full technical features of the smartphone.

Design & Display

Beauty wasn’t limited on this smartphone as Archos made the design a very attractive one. The 2.5D curved glass layer on the display together with the rounded curved edges makes the smartphone appealing to the eyes. At the rear,  the camera and LED flash are positioned in an orderly manner at the top left corner while the speaker grille takes the bottom right corner. Having 150 mm length x 71.5 mm width x 9.45 mm thickness dimensions, the smartphone has a 169 g weight including its battery. The smartphone’s fore sees a camera and earpiece owning the top bezel location while the bottom bezel has zero occupants. The Android navigation buttons get to be embedded in the smartphone screen display.
