Final Fantasy 7 Remake – what is Materia and where to find it

Final Fantasy 7 Remake- what is Materia and where to find it? You know how to use it, don’t you? Materia, the beautiful luminescent crystals found throughout the world of Final Fantasy VII. All magic requires Matter and there are many, many types of Matter. Some are easy to find or even given to you as you progress through the game, while the other types may also miss you if you don’t have a careful eye. You won’t get some types of matter until you win the game. Fortunately, we know where to find and how to use each Materia in Final Fantasy VII Remake.

What is Materia anyway?

In the world of Final Fantasy VII, Materia are pieces of crystallized Mako, the lifeblood of the planet. These powerful crystals give the owner the ability to cast spells, increase their stats and even summon incredible spirits to fight alongside them in battle. To use magic in Final Fantasy VII Remake, you will need to explore each phase to find these bright crystals. Fortunately, you can go back and play again using the Select Chapter feature in case you miss a type.

All types of Matter available

  1. Magic Materia Verdi- Materia are linked to magic like Fire, Cure and so on, the classic magic of Final Fantasy. Just equip them to get their magic.
