How to get all Final Fantasy 7 Remake outfits

All you need to know to unlock all 9 outfits and complete the Dressed to the Nines trophy in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

In Final Fantasy 7 Remake, there are a total of 9 dresses or wedding dresses that players can unlock for Tifa, Aerith, and Cloud. The players of the original game will probably remember how difficult it was to get all the outfits in the game and things are no different in the remake. In this guide, we analyze everything you need to know to unlock all 9 outfits and complete the Dressed to the Nine trophy.

There are a total of 9 outfits that you can unlock in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, with Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith each with three outfits they can acquire. The outfits are all based on the things you do, from choosing close to the start of the game to the side quests you complete in another chapter. Luckily, we took care of all the hypothetical work, and we will see how to get each outfit for each character below.

The clothes will be worn as part of the narrative at the end of chapter 9 when Cloud and Aerith infiltrate Don Corneo’s home to save Tifa. The whole ordeal is a bit of a fun occasion, and having the perfect dress for the occasion is important. While initially making a decision as to what Tifa’s dress will be in chapter 3, the outfits will not come into play until the end of chapter 9, which means you will have to play until the end of that chapter aiming for the trophy.

Now, of course, you can only get one suit per character per game. This means that you will have to repeat the game to unlock all three characters for each character, but the ability to jump between chapters after completing the game will make everything much easier.

How to get all Final Fantasy 7 Remake outfits

Players will be able to choose which outfit to have Tifa wear during chapter 9 in chapter 3. After completing all the side missions in chapter 3, a discovery event will appear on the map. Go back to the Tifa and Cloud apartments that will have a quick conversation. Tifa will ask Cloud to choose between three options- Mature, Sporty and Exotic. The option you choose here will determine which dress Tifa wears at the end of chapter 9 in the Corneo mansion.

  • If players choose to wear Mature, Tifa will wear a blue dress.
  • Choosing Sporty, Tifa will wear a shiny dress with a leopard print motif.
  • If players choose Exotic, Tifa will wear a black dress with a red hair bow attached to it.

How to get all three clothes for Aerith

Players who want to unlock all three clothing options for Aerith will be able to do so during chapter 3. The outfit Aerith uses is based on how many side missions will be completed during the chapter.

  • Complete the missions on the zero side and Aerith will wear a simple-looking pink dress.
  • If you complete half of the side missions in Chapter 8 (there are six total side missions), Aerith will wear a more elaborate-looking pink dress.
  • Completing all six side quests in Chapter 8 will reward Aerith with a long red dress. This is the best dress he can have.

How to get all three clothes for Cloud

Like Tifa and Aerith, Cloud has three outfits available. The dress worn by Cloud is also based on secondary research. However, this time it’s not based on how many you do, but instead on which of the complete side quests in Chapter 9.

  • If you complete the Never Stops, A Dynamite Body, and Burning Thighs Cloud missions, you will wear a nice purple / blue and black dress.
  • By completing the side missions The Price of Thievery, Shears’ Counterattack, and Burning Thighs, Cloud will dress in white.
  • Skipping all side quests in Chapter 9 will cause Cloud to wear a black suit.

That’s all you need to know to unlock all the outfits for each Final Fantasy 7 Remake character. You will need a total of three steps to acquire them all and complete the Dressed to the Nines trophy.
