Fly Slimline is a new smartphone released under the stable of Fly Mobile, the company that began with feature phones but moved to smartphones later in 2012. Fly Mobile introduced Fly Slimline in the middle of November 2018.
The new device is a watered down cheap smartphone that will appeal to a small segment of smartphone users because it has narrow space, stringent performance and small battery as well.

Design and Display of Fly Slimline
Primary design material in this device is mainly plastic. The dimensions are 149 x 70.9 x 8.6 mm and it weighs 146 grams. It arrives in blue and champagne colors. This device is not a water resistant smartphone, does not have fingerprint sensor, and there is also no face recognition technology here.
Display type is IPS LCD capacitive touch screen without a secondary display. The screen size is a small 5.45 inches, while the pixel density is 295 ppi. Furthermore, pixel resolution is 1440 x 720. Aspect ratio is 18:9 and screen to body ratio is 72.8 percent. Other cool features are 2.5D curved glass and scratch resistant glass.
Camera Features
At the camera department there is a rear single lens of 8 MP which comes with LED flash. The video performance is 1080p@30fps.
However, the front camera made for selfies is 5 MP and it arrives without front flash. Other notable camera features include geotagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, and HDR, time lapse.
Hardware and Software
Android OS v8.1 Oreo Go Edition runs in the Fly Slimline. This, we believe that this can upgrade to the latest Android 9 Pie. Likewise, the hardware consist MediaTek MT6739WA of process technology 28nm working with 64-bit architecture. Accordingly, the CPU is Quad-core 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A53, while the GPU is PowerVR GE8100.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
Internal memory in the device is a meager 1GB of RAM. The user cannot expand it but the storage memory of 8GB can be expanded up to 64GB with a dedicated microSD card slot.
Sensors in the Fly Slimline are accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light.
Network and Connectivity
Supported networks in the smartphone are GSM, HSPA and LTE. Thus, it is equipped with 2G, 3G and 4G internet networks. Also, there are two nano SIM card slots provided in the device for simultaneous use.
Regarding connectivity, there is Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0. However, no infrared, NFC, or HDMI is found in this device.
Battery Life
Powering the device is a moderate Li-Ion 2500 mAh removable battery. This has no wireless charging or fast charging technology. Further, talk time is up to 10 hours and standby time is up to 160 hours. In case the battery power fades, simply throw it away and buy another one.
