It is known that Samsung’s electronic wallet will be called Samsung Blockchain KeyStore. This is a cold wallet and can be used to store Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cosmo Coin. In particular, Galaxy S10 will also support decentralized Applications (DApps). Cosmochain, a company that started Korea’s blockchain, will be Samsung’s first DApp partner with COSMEE DApp.
The COSMEE application, used to evaluate beauty products based on blockchain technology, will reward Cosmo users with electronic reviews when leaving reviews on beauty products. These coins can be transferred directly from the COSMEE application to Samsung’s electronic wallet.
It is expected that DApps applications will be downloaded from the Galaxy DApps page (expected name) in Galaxy Store. But it is unclear whether Samsung supports DApps for other Galaxy devices. If so, it will be very interesting, especially for fans of electronic money and blockchain technology.
In fact, this is not the first time Samsung has supported electronic money technologies. Last year, Samsung announced it was manufacturing ASIC chips for electronic money mining companies. However, with Samsung Blockchain Keystore and Dapps, it will directly support users.
