Good news for Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 users

A few days ago we said that the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 + and Note 8 could not receive the new User Interface from Samsung’s One UI.

Although this decision was somewhat questionable, the source of the information was safe and reputable. That is, it was very likely that this could happen. According to Tom’s Guide, a Samsung executive told them in an interview that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 would not taste the new User Interface.

A bit strange because it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 will be upgraded to the Android Pie. That is, this would cause Samsung to have to design two different Interfaces based on the same version of Android. However, Samsung can always expect everything.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 should receive the new Interface, One UI

However, new information says yes, that these smartphones will receive the new User Interface. The only exclusion they will have is that they will not be able to participate in the Beta version that is reserved for the successors, ie Galaxy S9, S9 + and Note 9.

Although the user interface of the South Korean company has become lighter and better quality in recent times, this One UI is relevant to the brand. One UI marks the beginning of a more minimalist User Interface. A less complex UI and a design innovation. Also, note that we have the possibility to activate Dark Mode on the smartphone.

Soon after Google has confirmed that Dark Mode is important to save autonomy on smartphones, I just do not understand why all manufacturers do not release their version in a dark way.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 will receive the One UI, however, do not expect this update to arrive before the launch of the Galaxy S10 in February.

For other smartphones, there is still no idea. I believe that the 2018 mid-range can receive One UI but only and only. The new equipment of the Asian company will arrive with this version installed. It is believed that the Galaxy S10 will be the first to officially hit the market with One UI installed from its source.
