The Haier Power P8 smartphone is a small phone and it comes with a micro SIM slot just like some other entry level phones. Although small, the phone boasts a high resolution and we are not surprised that it is this way because the device is 4G compliant. It also comes with four cameras.

This Haier Power P8 mobile phone arrives in a plastic body design. The dimensions are 147.2 x 70 x 10.8 mm and its weight specification is 164 grams. It comes in only black color. But note, this phone does not have waterproof protection whatsoever, face recognition technology, no fingerprint sensor.

The camera features in the phone are as follows- Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR, and others.

Hardware & Software

Haier Power P8 also sports Android OS v8.1 Oreo Go Edition as its operating system in control. In addition to that, it comes with MediaTek MT6739WA chipset. Moreover, CPU is Octa-core ARM Cortex A53, and the GPU is Mali T860 MP2.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

In this device, there is 1GB of RAM and this cannot be increased. In addition to that, the internal storage is 8GB which can be increased with a micro-SD card up to 128GB. There are three sensors in the phone in the form of accelerometer, proximity, and light.

Network and Connectivity

This phone is supported by GSM, HSPA and LTE. So the user has 2G, 3G and 4G available for internet connectivity. This makes this phone a 4G compliant mobile device that has dual micro SIM card slot.

As expected, network support items are Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack and micro USB v2.0. Actually, there is no infrared, NFC or HDMI in the Haier Power P8.

Battery Life Haier Power P8

Powering this device is a good Li-Po 4500 mAh non-removable battery that does not have wireless charging and no fast charging technology. Talk time and standby time are up to 11 hours and 230 hours respectively.
