Haier L8 – Review
This is an update to the L6 from Haier, the new L8 comes with dual rear camera, the first from Haier. The company tried the trending feature on the L8 and its quite stunning. The phone should make its official debut at the MWC, but surprisingly its already available on online stores. Furthermore, it looks like Haier isn’t slowing down this year with these beauties coming from them. Without further ado, lets take a thorough look at the Haier L8.

Design
The L8 is a beauty to behold and hold, made from aluminum with a metal finish. The rear features are still lined up exactly the same like on the L6, well with two cameras this time around. It comes with a rear fingerprint scanner as well for fast access and supports dual nano sims.
The device is beautiful no doubt and i have to give it to Haier, the curved side gives you a firm grip. Its quite slim measuring 8.4 mm in thickness, and weighing just 140g. Haier L8 is available in three beautiful colors as you can get them in Black, Gold and Blue colors.
Display
The screen size is still the same with its predecessor but the details have been improved no doubt. The bezels are minimal as the phone dishes out a Full View overall display. There’s no navigation or physical home buttons at the bottom bezel, while the selfie camera and sensors are at the top. Everything is protected by the Asahi Dragontrail Glass for a much stronger screen.

The 5.99-inch LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is simply breathtaking and stunning with immersive visuals. It boasts of a 1080 x 2160 pixels in screen resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio. The visuals are brought to life in sharp details thanks to the 403 pixel per inch density. Overall, Haier got to 76.1% screen-to-body ratio with the L8, which is impressive.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset with Octa-core processor running at 1.8 GHz. Offering a standard performance of the typical midrange smartphone, so no surprises. In the graphics department, the Adreno 506 processor is in charge with a speed of 600MHz and a process technology of 14nm LPP.
Its 3GB RAM space reaches a memory speed of 933MHz for multitasking through apps and games. For saving files, apps, games and movies, there’s a 32GB internal storage space ready for you. Haier L8 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with modified user interface of course.
Camera
The dual rear 12MP + 2MP shooters are perfect for photography, both camera will work together for amazing shoots. The cameras comes with quality features as well to help take incredible photographs, like phase detection autofocus, touch focus etc. Under both horizontally placed cameras is a dual-LED dual-tone flash for low light environments. It sports an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture for stunning selfies. There’s also a front LED Flash to help in dark places especially nightclubs.
Battery
