Homtom is one of the Chinese brands that is associated with cheap affordable devices. Most budget friendly devices come with a compromise in the specs which interprets into the low price. The most important thing is the balance between the specs and quality compromise. Homtom has been known to offer a fair number of features as well as a quality performance at a very affordable price.

The Homtom HT3 Pro portrays a device with a decent compromise between good efficiency and low price. The smartphone is equipped with special features and impressive hardware in a fine and well-designed casing all of this at a relatively low price tag. Compared to another device in its price range, there is a very likelihood it offers the same or more features.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY

When it comes to smartphones, most people expect a nice design before even considering what it offers. One of the first things the Homtom HT3 Pro has is a beautiful design that gives it the look of a premium high-end smartphone as seen on Samsung, HTC and Apple. In the low price range, the HT3 Pro offers an impressive design along with a High-end finish that is portrayed in its unique build.

Talking about the Homtom HT3 Pro has a similar build common to the iPhone series with its size and shape. It features rounded edges typical of most modern day smartphones and sports a 2.5D glass that gives it a classic appearance. The device has a thickness of about 9mm which makes it look slim and sleek and is lightweight also at just 95g. This makes handling the device quite easy but in a way diminishes that quality premium feel and a dimension of 145 x 73 x 9 mm

The Homotom HT3 Pro has a centrally located camera with a single flash at the upper rear part of the device. At the front, below the screen, there are three capacitive touch buttons and a front-facing camera at the top of the smartphone. To the left side of the device, there is the power button and volume rocker while the right side is free of any buttons.

Like other devices in its price range, the Homtom HT3 Pro sports a 1280 x 720-pixel resolution high definition IPS display on a 5-inch screen. It offers a decent viewing angle considering its price tag and has a pixel density of 294 ppi. The brightness is fair enough for outdoor viewing as well as a Miravision technology which allows change screen colour.

CPU, OS AND STORAGE

It comes with a MediaTek MT6735 64bit quad-core processor that clocks at 1.0GHz and support 4G LTE connectivity. This coupled with an ARM Mali T720 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The Homtom HT3 Pro runs an Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

BATTERY AND CAMERA

Homtom HT3 Pro is powered by a removable 3000mAh battery which lasts for a day or so on a full charge with regular usage. In the aspect of the camera there is an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP selfie camera.
