Design
A combination of aluminum alloy and plastic here, the S99 sports a unique and attractive design at the rear. The Plastic back has a football-like design to attract potential users, with a curved shape at the bottom for a firm grip of the device.
At the top middle we can see how vertical the dual shooters were stylishly aligned. There’s a dual-LED flash beside the camera and a fingerprint scanner underneath. The HomTom logo is a loner at the bottom corner, it supports dual Nano SIM and comes with a 3.5mm jack.
Display
HomTom has been releasing smartphones with the Full View display for a while now. The S99, a lower midrange smartphone comes with the feature as well. The screen stretches from side to side, leaving no room for any narrow bezel.

Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6750T chip with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here reaches a fast speed of 1.5GHz with 14nm process technology. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor comes with 4-Cores and clocks at 650MHz.
The 4GB RAM available here for multitasking has a memory speed of 833MHz ensuring smooth multitasking through apps. While for storage, 64GB storage space is available to store all files and apps. You can easily upgrade up to 256GB, but that means letting go of a SIM Slot. The S99 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Camera
The dual shooters at the rear is a 21MP + 2MP Sony cameras. The 21MP shooter has f/2.0 aperture and captures photographs with 5344 x 4008 pixels in dimension. The 2MP wide-angle lens should help for bokeh effect and portrait mode. The cameras come with a dual-LED flash and other quality features as well.
