In China, a new Honor smartphone passed the authorities, which could be presented as Honor V20. Is it the Honor View 20 for us?
In November 2017, the Honor V10 was officially unveiled in China and I speculated at the time that it would come to us as Honor 9 Pro. But it came in the end as Honor View 10 to Germany. Now happened a model the CMIIT in China, which could be presented as Honor V20.
An Honor View 20 for Christmas?
The Honor V20 aka Honor View 20 could become Honor’s flagship. The new Honor Magic 2 stands out a bit with the slider, but I think Honor will have planned a “normal” version with Notch for the Christmas business – which will be a bit cheaper.
In any case, in the next few weeks, we could expect another Honor smartphone with top features for 2018, I would not be surprised if an Honor View 20 comes for 499-599 euros in December.
Remember that there is a lot of speculation here, but the approach of Honor (or Huawei) is often transparent. And I do not think that the Magic 2 will be the right Honor Top model for Christmas 2018 and until Honor 20 in Spring 2020. But it is too special with the slider – I think that there will be an Honor View 20 parallel to the Magic 2.
