How To Deactivate/Activate Siri on iPhone XS Max
- First things first, you’ll have to set up Siri. To do that, Go to Settings >> Siri & Search >> Listen to Siri then set it up.

Once you’re done setting it up then your own personal virtual assistant is now ready to carry out your tasks.

Simply say “Hey Siri” and Siri will come up and await further instructions from you. You can now use either voice your request or type it.

Alternatively, you can press and hold the Side button for about 3 seconds to pull up Siri.

Once you’re done with Siri, simply swipe up from the Bottom of your device to close it or Press the Side button and you’ll be taken to your home screen.
If you would like to deactivate Siri at anytime, simply Head to your Settings >> General >> Siri >> Toggle Off Siri >> Turn Off Siri. Once you do that, saying “Hey Siri” or long pressing the side button no longer wake Siri. You can turn it back on or activate it by follow the above steps also.
