In this guide, we will see how to permanently delete a contact from WhatsApp that is not in the phone’s address book.
In recent years we communicate more and more through the messages we write from social networks or instant messaging applications such as WhatsApp.
More and more people and numbers have registered on these platforms, and surely on many occasions, there are many with whom we have no contact and we thought of eliminating them on more than one occasion.
However, it is possible that, by examining our WhatsApp address book, we noticed the presence of contacts that we have never registered and that we would like to delete.
It may happen that due to synchronizations with other apps (Facebook or Skype, for example) we find ourselves on WhatsApp contacts that we had never saved on our phone and that are not present in the address book.
Then we explain how to solve the problem so that you can delete the contacts that you have not saved in your phone’s address book and that appear in the WhatsApp app.
How to delete a WhatsApp contact that is not present in the address book
The first thing to do is to enter WhatsApp and select the contact you want to delete and that has not been registered. Once here, click above to access your profile.
Now you have to select the three-dot icon located at the top right.
In the drop-down window, select “View in address book”
Now it will appear in the address book. Depending on the mobile phone model in use, the interface may vary. Select “Other” at the bottom.
Finally, click on “Delete Contact” and it will be removed from your WhatsApp.
In this way, you will be able to delete all those WhatsApp contacts that do not interest you in the app or on the mobile phone.
