An iPhone’s Photos app makes it simple to keep pictures or clips hidden on your iPhone by taking it off your main albums and having it stored in a different folder.
Some iOS users prefer to hide their images, even if they do not wish to get rid of it completely, they also do not want anyone else to view it.

How Can I Hide Photos On iPhone With The Photos App?
- Open the Photos application and open the picture you intend to hide, or choose several pictures to hide.
- Click “Share.”
- On the bottom taskbar, swipe to the right till an icon of a rectangle with a slash above “Hide,” is visible, then you can click “Hide.”
- Click “Hide Photo” for confirmation.
The pictures are now taken away from your main album and kept in an album named “Hidden.” To gain access to them, from the Photo App, swipe down. Under “Other Albums,” you will locate the stash under “Hidden.”
How To Password Protect Photos On iPhone Using The Notes App?
- Open the picture you want to protect, click “Share.”
- From the middle taskbar, click “Add to Notes” and tap “Save.”
- Launch Notes application, then open the note with the picture.
- Click “Share.”
- On the bottom task bar, swipe to “Lock Note” and click it.
If this is the first note locked by you, come up with a password and hint, then tap “Done.” When you click the lock icon that will now be visible in the top right, your note will no longer be visible, and you will need to click “View Note” and type in your password to view it.
Remember to delete the picture from the Photos application.

If you do not like for anyone to locate a picture in your photo app and you feel they might check in Notes, send the picture or note to yourself through SMS, then have it deleted from your Photos. Until anyone checks your SMS, your picture can be accessed by you but it will be difficult for anyone else to locate.
