Many of us have a Google account to use Google Maps, Gmail or other company services, but we use Apple devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. In this case, you can synchronize your Google calendar with the application Apple calendar. In this way, you will have all your appointments and events in one place.
A Calendar for everything
To synchronize both calendars, the first thing you should do is link your Google account on your iPhone or iPad. If you have not already done so, follow the steps below:
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Select the Passwords and accounts section.
- Press Add account.
- Select the Google option.
- Enter your Google email address and click Next.
- Enter your password. Next, click Next.
At this time, your Google account is already linked to your iPhone or iPad.
To synchronize your Google calendar with the iOS Calendar app:
- Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
- Select the Passwords and accounts section.
- Click on the Google account you’ve linked. Keep in mind that if it is a personal account will have a termination @ gmail.com, but if you have a corporate account, your account includes the name of the organization, in my case @ murciaeduca.es).
- On the next screen, place the slider you see next to the Calendar option in the ON position.
From now on you will be able to access the events of your Google calendar directly from the Calendar application of all the devices and equipment that you have linked under the same iCloud account.
