Huawei FreeBuds 3i – AirPods Pro at half the price?

As I said yesterday in the comparison between FreeBuds 3i and the ‘old people’ FreeBuds 3, Huawei is really aiming to win in the world of wearables, especially in the segment of TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbuds! After all, after launching the excellent FreeBuds 3 at the end of last year, the Chinese giant has now decided to bet on a cheaper product, but not for that reason with less quality.

Huawei FreeBuds 3i- AirPods Pro at half the price?

So, as I said in the title of this article, we have a brutal solution here if you’re a fan of Apple’s recent AirPods Pro, for three simple reasons. First, because the design is extremely similar! Second, because the sound quality is all there, and third … Because the price is brutal.

After all, while Apple asks for € 279 for its AirPods Pro with ANC… Huawei asks for ~ € 120 for its FreeBuds 3i with noise cancellation up to 32 dB (A)!

That said, Huawei’s new wireless headsets feature dynamic 10nm drivers and specialized drivers to maximize audio quality. Incidentally, Huawei even incorporated three microphones in each ‘bud’ so that it has the best possible call quality.

In addition, we have a combined battery of 74 mAh capable of offering 3h30 of music with only one charge, with an additional 14h and a half hours in the transport box thanks to its 410 mAh battery. (Total of 5 ½ hours of music).

If you happen to be a very active person who loves to run on the street, the 3i are IPX4 certified, as well as a closed design that will seal your ear canal very well. That is, not only are they resistant to sweat, but they will not pop out of your ears. (Not to be antisocial on the street or in the gym, the headphones also have sensors to pause the music when you remove one of the buds.)
