Huawei has sent out invitations for an event billed to hold on December 7, where the Nova 2S is expected to be the centre of attraction. The Huawei Nova 2S will become a fifth entrant in the Nova series upon its unveiling.

Before then we have gotten hold of teasers and promotional materials that have indicated what to expect in certain departments. December 7 is the date Huawei will officially unwrap the Nova 2S, and based on what information we have been availed of so far, the Nova 2S is a ‘tasty’ package.

Display
The leaks revealed a 6-inch Full screen of FHD+(2160*1080 pixels) resolution. The FullView display sports well-rounded edges with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Design
The device sports a metal plus glass back build with narrow bezels around the display but there is still enough room to accommodate the fingerprint scanner just below the display. The right panel contains the volume control buttons and the power key while the left panel perhaps houses the SIM card tray. The device will be available in silver, red, black, blue & pink hues.
Storage & Processor
Under the hood, the Huawei Nova 2S will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 960 chipset clocked at 2.4GHz with a Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. The chipset will run on 6GB of RAM, however the internal capacity remains unknown, although there is microSD expansion support.
Camera
The Nova 2S as revealed will sport 16MP and 20MP shooters at the rear. The camera department seems to be the stand-out on the Nova 2S as the front will also sport a dual camera setup of 20MP shooters. Just too good to be true!!
Battery & Connectivity
If the leaks end up being true at the end of the day, the Nova 2S will be powered by a 3340mAh capacity battery. Connectivity options include; Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, USB Type-C, 4G LTE, fingerprint sensor.

Software
At long last we have another smartphone to run the Android 8.0 Oreo OS pre-installed. However, the software setup has Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 running on top of the Oreo.
