The Huawei P20 Pro comes with a home button which is equipped with the fingerprint sensor. While the iPhone X ditched the fingerprint sensor for a more sophisticated Facial Identification technology. While the iPhone X comes with a dual rear camera placed also in a vertical position at the top-left corner.

The iPhone X features an amazing Super AMOLED touchscreen with 5.8 inch size. Also bezel-less with a better 82.9 screen-to-body ratio. The Huawei P20 Pro runs on Android latest operating system, Android 8.1 Oreo. While the iOS 11.1.1 which is upgradable to iOS 11.3 runs on the iPhone X. Large internal storage is available on both device. The Huawei P20 Pro comes with a 128GB internal storage or ROM and a 6GB RAM size. While iPhone X comes with a 3GB RAM size and two variants of internal storage; 64GB and 256GB.

Huawei P20 Pro with the better battery life. The smartphone features a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery. And a fast battery charging up to 58% in 30 minutes. The 4000 mAh battery is sure to last a whole day on average usage. Apple don’t really have strong battery life, with the iPhone X powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 2716 mAh battery. That can’t last up to 18 hours of normal usage.

The Huawei P20 Pro is available at around $1,111 (N388,850). While the iPhone X is sold at around $1,234 (N431,900). The Huawei P20 Pro with high quality camera and stronger battery capacity is enough to win this comparison for me. The iPhone X’s hardware is the only advantage it has over the Huawei P20 Pro.
