Huawei to Explore New Terrains in Solar, Battery Solutions

Huawei has suffered largely from the U.S and China trade war. So many opportunities lost but now the company is ready to revamp with its launch of IdeaHub, says one of the executives of the organization. He made it clear in an interview that Huawei has a brighter future as it moves into other business areas.

“We are not rolling out new products at the moment,” the executive told a journalist online. “We are moving into solar energy, data centers, and battery solutions.” Right now, Huawei is the largest manufacturer of inverters, and this is the tech that helps solar energy to function properly. Probably, the company will be looking at opportunities for shoring up climate change in multiple countries come 2021.

This is a pragmatic move, and the incoming president in the United States may also relax a few things here and there. On the other side, Huawei may still be poise to explore other markets that can’t be linked to previous allegations from the U.S.A. That will not only be a pragmatic step, it will be a wise step.

The Huawei spokesperson compares the move to ‘getting back into the grittiness of networks, but this time, energy, as well as telecommunications, win. He says the company is very confident about making a positive contribution in these areas.

Data centers become the focus because just delivering a reliable power supply to data centers SmartLi UPS solution is an efficient way to reduce the cost of ownership. But Huawei isn’t done with 5G and telecoms in many areas of the world yet. 5G may be a priority in some countries, while it may not be in others.

The tech company got its marketing hype going on just fine since last years and in the past 18 months, there have been a dozen approved projects. As the company celebrates its 15th anniversary, there’s still room for optimism.
