Design
Huawei obviously don’t want to let go of their pattern. All their midrange smartphones look alike and the Y7 Pro 2018 is no exception. Boasting of a Plastic body with a Metal twist to it, the device has a smooth and non-slippery body.
The dual shooters and dual-LED flash are in their usual position alongside the fingerprint scanner as well. The Huawei logo is seen at the bottom corner, the device measures 7.8mm in thickness and weighs 155g overall, making it easy to hold and operate. It’s only available in Black, Blue and Gold colors

The company has lots of bezel-less smartphones to its name right now, including the Y7 Pro 2018. The smartphone dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio with tiny narrow bezels in sight. The top houses the usual features, while a Huawei engraving is seen at the bottom.
The 5.99-inch HD+ IPS In-Cell capacitive touchscreen has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. The In-Cell display will give you a totally new viewing experience with immersive visuals. The screen has a pixel per inch density of 269 and stretches up to 76.50% screen to body ratio.

The brain behind the Y7 Pro 2018 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-cores of processor reaches a speed of 1.4GHz with a 28nm process technology as well. In charge of graphics is the Qualcomm Adreno 505 graphics processor.
A standard 3GB of RAM is available here for multitasking which is required for a smartphone running on Android 8.0 Oreo. The RAM space has a memory speed of 800 MHz, with 32GB internal storage space. The storage space is upgradeable up to 256GB using a memory card. The Huawei Y7 Pro 2018 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Emotion UI 8.0 skin.
Camera
The 13MP + 2MP rear shooters has f/2.2 aperture capturing photographs with a dimension 4160 x 3120 pixels. The cameras come with lots of quality features, a dual-LED flash and FHD videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. The 8MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture lens and face recognition technology.

Powering the Huawei Y7 Pro 2018 is a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 2.5 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
