Apple will hold a special event on October 31. Among the devices expected to be shown are new iPads with various improvements over previous models. The hats that have been hovering over the past few times are coming with a slim bezel, using Face ID systems and USB-C support.
The icon for iPad Pro 2018 has been found in the latest iOS 12 build. It seems to confirm the design above because it has a thin bezel and no TouchID button on the chin side. Interestingly it does not sting like the iPhone X and XS. In addition, the Face ID system on iPad Pro 2018 is likely to allow unlocking in vertical and horizontal positions.
