iTel A62 VS iTel P32 – bigger memory or bigger battery life? iTel has launched the new iTel A62 in India. The phone which is aimed at the budget segment of the market adds to an already growing list of iTel budget smartphones. One of those budget phones is the iTel P32, which was launched in Lagos, Nigeria.
Both the iTel A62 and iTel P32 will seek to be iTel best budget phone of the year. They both have similar features like the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face ID. But we’ll be comparing their full specs to find out which one of them is better.
iTel A62 VS iTel P32 – The Design
The iTel A62 got the best design. The phone’s dual rear camera takes inspiration from the legendary iPhone X. The iTel P32 also features a dual rear camera but they are aligned in a horizontal direction. Both iTel phones sport dual antenna lines and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
There’s a loudspeaker at the bottom back of the iTel P32. The iTel A62 is available in three body colors; Black, Red, and Champagne. While the iTel P32 is available in three body colors; Ice Blue, City Blue, and Champagne Gold. Facial ID support no longer belongs to mid-range and high-end smartphones, the budget phones are stepping up. Both the iTel A62 and iTel P32 supports Face Unlock system.

The two iTel smartphones feature an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The screen of the iTel A62 features curved edges. While that of the iTel P32 is squared. The iTel P32 sports a 5.5 inches IPS LCD panel, 720 x 1440 pixels resolution and 282 pixels per inch density. Whereas, the iTel A62 packs a 5.65 inches IPS LCD panel, 720 x 1440 pixels resolution of 282 PPI density.

The dual rear camera set-up of the iTel A62 features a 13MP primary sensor with a 0.3MP secondary sensor. While the dual rear camera set-up of the iTel P32 sports a dual 5MP sensors. Moving over to the front, both the iTel A62 and iTel P32 features a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and Face ID.

Both phones are powered by different versions of MediaTek chipset. The iTel A62 is powered by MediaTek MT6739 chipset. Whereas, the iTel P32 is powered by MediaTek MT6580M. Both chipsets feature a Quad-core processor, which clocks at 1.3GHz. The MT6739 chipset comes with PowerVR GE8100 GPU for graphics. While the MT6580M comes with ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processing unit.
The iTel P32 runs on the Go edition of Android 8.1 Oreo with its 1GB memory and 8GB internal storage. Whereas, the iTel A62 runs on the normal Android 8.1 Oreo thanks to its 2GB memory and 16GB internal storage.

This is where the iTel P32 has the bragging rights. The phone is powered by a non-removable Li-lon 4000 mAh battery. Though there’s no fast battery charging support. While the iTel A62 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery. And has no fast battery charging support also.

The price of the iTel A62 is virtually the same as the iTel P32. You’ll get the iTel P32 for around $109 (€93). While the iTel A62 cost around $110 (€94).

The iTel A62 has a slight win in the camera department. The main difference between these two phones is the memory and battery categories. The iTel P32 has a much better battery life than iTel A62. Whereas, the iTel A62 runs on a 2GB memory and has a bigger internal storage of 16GB.
