iTel S32 Announced By iTel Mobile; Check Out Specs And Price

iTel Mobile is a very prominent smartphone brand in Nigeria most especially because of their constant capacity in releasing budget smartphones with cool specs. The OEM launched in 2007, recently celebrated its 10th year anniversary with the launch of three dual selfie camera smartphones into the Nigerian mobile market namely, iTel S32, iTel S32 LTE and iTel S12. Before these three smartphones, the most recent of their S series smartphones was the iTel S11 launched in January 2011. These three smartphones although launched this month, they will get their release in the month of November. While we are still awaiting the review of the budget devices, the iTel S32 smartphone will be reviewed.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY

As I said earlier, the iTel S32 is a dual selfie cam smartphone, so its double cam gives it a classic elegance. The metallic furnishes and curved edges on the smartphone makes it look bold. The rear has a smooth feel with a primary camera placed at its helm, and a fingerprint sensor placed beneath the camera sector. The front of the smartphone has medium sized bezels where the dual cam appears on top and the Android navigation buttons appearing in the bottom bezel.

The smartphone sports a large 5.5 inches Full HD display plus 2.5D Curved Glass with its screen type being the IPS capacitive touchscreen. Its resolution is locked at 1080 x 1920 pixels.

HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND MEMORY

The hardware information available at the moment is that the smartphone uses a MediaTek chipset and not a Qualcomm Snapdragon. The device makes use of the common Android v7.0 Nougat OS alongside a customized iTel UI. This iTel S32 version will have a 1GB RAM for the sake of multi-tasking while a 16GB ROM will be available for the purpose of storing files and documents. There is an external micro SD slot for micro SD cards.

CAMERA, BATTERY AND SENSORS

The front camera sector has a dual camera setup with each camera having 5MP quality. The other properties of the camera include: 63-degrees primary lens, 86-degrees ultra-wide secondary lens and 120-degrees group for selfie pictures. There’s no LED flash support at its front but the rear camera has a LED flash support. The rear camera has an 8MP shooter for capturing images. A non-removable Li-Ion 3,000mAh battery will serve as the source of duration on the smartphone. Sensors available on the smartphone are the fingerprint sensor (rear-mounted), accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
