Keecoo P11 Pro launched with Dual Rear Camera – Review, Full Specs and Price

The Keecoo P11 Pro was launched at the 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona with dual rear camera. This is coming barely three months after the company launched the Keecoo P11 smartphone.

It’s the mobile season and smartphone manufacturing companies need to release their latest project now to go with the hype. Apart from the dual rear camera and the obvious bigger display screen. What else does the Keecoo P11 Pro have in store for us today? Lets find out.

Keecoo P11 Pro

Sports a metal mix body that reflects light beautifully and unlike its predecessor the device comes with a glass back. There’s a vertically shaped foundation at the back that houses the dual rear shooter and fingerprint scanner. While the dual-LED flash sits by the side of the rear features.

The Keecoo logo is at its usual position at the bottom corner. Turning over to the sides, it measures 8.4 mm in thickness, making it quite bulky than its predecessor. It weighs 190g as well, which is relatively heavy. The P11 Pro is available in Blue and Black colors only.

Keecoo still went with the bezel-less trend, but it isn’t as bezel-less as its predecessor, reaching a meagre 78.57% screen to body ratio. The Pro version sports a LCD screen which perhaps should be more sharp, but the pixel per inch density looks kinda blur. The bottom bezel is just there, while the top houses the usual features.

No narrow bezels on the Keecoo P11 Pro, the 6-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is beautiful to look at. It boasts of 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution and 268.33 pixel per inch density. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio, in-cell technology with a 2.5D curved glass protecting it.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood is the same MediaTek MT6737 chipset with Quad-Core processor reaching a much faster speed of 1.3GHz. It has a 28nm process technology, 64-bit CPU architecture and ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor. Experience intensive gaming experience and navigation as the graphics processor clocks at 550MHz.

It comes with the same 2GB RAM and 16GB storage just like the P11. This is disheartening to say the least, there’s no major difference yet and it doesn’t deserve to be a Pro version. Nevertheless, the RAM reaches a memory speed of 640MHz while the 16GB storage is upgradeable up to 64GB. The P11 Pro runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified user interface.

This is the reason why it is a Pro version of the P11, apart from the bigger screen. The dual 13MP + 0.3MP comes with a dual-LED flash and captures 4K resolution images. You can record videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second and take photographs with 4163 x 3122 pixels in dimension. At the front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera with no facial recognition technology, which means the didn’t work well with the P11.

Powering the Keecoo P11 Pro up is a 3100mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Perfect, they dropped the Face ID and fast charging feature in the Pro version. It might take close to 3 hours to fully charge up the battery without the feature.
