Design
Lanix obviously loves their Plastic rear covers, but the design on the Alpha 950 looks stunning and simple. Comes with a fingerprint scanner, which allows easy and fast access to the device anytime. The dual antenna lines at the rear definitely brings out the beauty of the device.
Just below the top antenna line, we can see the rear camera with its LED flash underneath, before the fingerprint scanner follows. It’s quite bulky to the sides measuring 14.6 mm in thickness, but it weighs less at 168g. You can get it in Black and Gold colors only.
Display
It dishes out a near full view display, flowing with the current trend. Although the bezels are not as super minimal as expected. Nonetheless, it has no navigation buttons at the bottom bezel, while the top bezel houses the usual features.
The 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive
touchscreen is pretty standard, it has a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution and 282 pixel per inch density. Disappointingly, it only stretched up to 70% screen to body ratio, but with such screen features, details on the screen should come out nicely.

Under the hood is the Snapdragon 425 chip from Qualcomm alongside a Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-cores of processor here runs at a clock speed of 1.4GHz with 28nm process technology. While the Qualcomm Adreno 308 graphics processor clocks at 500MHz.
As expected, it ships with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space. The RAM space reaches a memory speed of 667MHz for smooth multitasking. While the 16GB internal storage space is ready to accommodate all files and upgradeable up to 64GB. The Lanix Ilium Alpha 950 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system out of the box.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera on this affordable beauty shouldn’t be underestimated. It captures 4K resolution images with ease. The camera has a CMOS sensor and other features which helps in capturing photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. For selfies, the 16MP selfie camera should do the trick.
