Leaked image of Realme 3 Diamond Red surfaces; New gradient color may debut soon in India

Back in March, realme released the Realme 3 in three color variants including Black, Dynamic Black, and Radiant Blue. According to a fresh leak, Realme plans to announce a new color variant of the device soon in India and it is called Diamond Red. A leaked image of the Realme 3 Diamond Red has also surfaced online.

In the image which was leaked, the Realme 3 Diamond Red is shown to feature a diamond pattern on the rear. While the top half of the rear panel is red, it gradually mixes to purple and blue towards the bottom. We expect to see an official statement very soon from the company on when it plans to release the device.

The Realme 3 features a 6.22-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch up top. The display has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60. It also packs 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated microSD card slot to expand the memory space. The phone comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box with ColorOS 6.0 skin.

On the rear of the phone is a dual camera setup mounted at the top left corner. The camera setup includes a 13 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor. There is also a fingerprint sensor mounted towards the center. On the front, the phone sports a 13 MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture on the notch. It also packs a 4,230mAh battery with support for 10W charging

In related news, Realme is currently planning to launch the Realme X smartphone in India. It still hasn’t revealed the launch date, however. We expect it to be launched in July.

Reports say that Realme has collaborated with Marvel for the promotion of the upcoming “Spider-Man- Far From Home” movie. This means that Realme might launch the Realme X with a Spiderman themed case. We expect it to launch in the Rs. 18, 000 (~$260) price range.
