Lenovo has launched its S940 laptop in India, and this model comes within the popular Yoga Series. It has been priced at Rs 1.25 lakh. The letter ‘S’ of the model ‘S940’ stands for slim.
The company has launched a new premium range of premium laptops t0 compete with several other premium segment laptops present in the market like Macbook Air, Razer Blade Stealth, etc.
Moving on to the look and design of this Lenovo S940 laptop, it is a slim and an ultra-lightweight laptop. The laptop is quite easy to handle as its weight is around 1.2 kg. The Lenovo S940 Yoga Series laptop screen has super thin bezels.
The body of the laptop has been made using aluminium providing an excellent build quality to it and a good first impression too. You will not find a fingerprint scanner on the keyboard; instead, the company has provided facial recognition security.

Intel 8th generation processors power Lenovo S940 Yoga Series laptops. You will find several options for Intel chips, you can choose from starting range which includes Intel Core i5-8265U, and this range reaches up to Core i7-8565U.
The base model of the S940 laptop comes with 8GB DDR3 RAM, 256 GB SSD, and Windows 10 Home edition. As there are various options available under this S940 Yoga Series laptops, users can choose a laptop of specification like RAM, storage, and processor depending on their needs.
You will find three USB Type-C ports, and a headphone jack is also provided, which is quite impressive. Although the laptops are powered bu intel 8th generation processors, the company has claimed that the S950 Yoga Series laptops will provide a battery backup of up to 15 hours.
The laptop has a 4K 14″ screen with 500 nits of brightness and HDR. The webcam of the laptop includes IR HD camera with AI tracking enabled motion blur. This feature enables the laptop camera to scan the image when it is not even turned on and then project the blurry background when the camera is being used.
The laptop is equipped with Dolby Atmos speakers which great sound quality. You are not going to find an optical drive in this segment of the laptop.
