There will be no more Meitu phones
In 2017 there were three Meitu smartphones in the market. While last year there was only one, which also did not have great relevance in terms of sales. Therefore, the decision to abandon telephone manufacturing has finally been made. Because the results obtained in it are very far from the ideal. So Xiaomi remains as the firm that is responsible for producing phones.
In this way, the strategy that has been followed until now is also changed. Meitu is going to focus more on advertising with this new change. Although at the moment it does not know concretely what Xiaomi’s plans are with this brand.
