Moment is creating new telephoto lens for smartphone cameras. While this is the second time the company is doing this, the new creation is called the company is doing this as a second generation tele lens.
As reported by the company, this refreshed telephoto lens goes for $99. Above that, it is designed to take better photos on the iPhone XS, XR, and Pixel 3 smartphones. In addition to that, a buyer can also attach the 58mm zoom lens to any Samsung Galaxy, iPhone, or Google Pixel phone in order to get these excellent up-close effects.
Moment is reputed to have some of the best products when it comes to solving photo challenges in smartphone cameras. This new 58mm telephoto release is a follow up to the first tele-lens they released earlier.
The significance of the new lens is that users can snap sharper, brighter images with 2x (or double) zoom which is 100mm zoom lens equivalent, and 4x zoom mode which equals 200mm zoom lens equivalent. All these can be achieved inside the Moment camera app despite the shorter 58mm focal length compared to 60mm on the original tele lens.
