New leak reveals full Galaxy M40 specs ahead of release

Samsung will announce a new phone in India on June 11- the Samsung Galaxy M40. We already have some of the key features which the phone is going to come with as they have been confirmed by the company. There have also been several leaks revealing some of its specs. Less than a week away from its expected launch, a new leak has revealed all the specs of the phone.

According to the leak, the Galaxy M40 will feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display has a pixel density of 409 pixels per inch. There are some images of the Galaxy M40 on the landing page of the phone on Flipkart. The images confirm that the phone will have a small notch for the selfie camera just like other phones in the M-series.

The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 675 chipset and it will be supported with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot will be present for expanding the internal memory. It will come with Android 9 Pie out of the box while also packing a 3500 mAh battery.

On the rear, the phone features a triple camera setup which includes a 32 MP main camera, a 5 MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8 MP wide-angle camera with 123-degree viewing angle and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the phone has a 16 MP selfie camera which is housed in the notch above the display. In terms of connectivity, the phone will come with features like dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. A fingerprint sensor is also mounted on the rear of the phone.

We do not have any information yet on how much the Galaxy M40 will cost. However, the Galaxy M30 which sports 5 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage costs Rs. 17,990 (~$259). There is a possibility that the Galaxy M40 could have a starting price of Rs. 19,990 (~$288)
