Nokia will be a great protagonist at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, scheduled for the end of the month, where it will present several new smartphones including the highly regarded top of the range, the much-talked-about Nokia 9 PureView. Today, however, comes an interesting news about a device arrived in Italy a couple of weeks ago.

We refer of course to Nokia 5.1 Plus, the subject of a tweet by Ajey Mehta, Vice President of the Indian division of HMD Global. Well, the executive announced the launch of two new variants that can count on 4 and 6 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage.

The new versions of Nokia 5.1 Plus will be available on the official website, more precisely on this page, from 7 February; five days later it is expected to arrive in stores. We will see if the two new versions will also reach the European market; it is not excluded that HMD has thought only of certain Asian markets, including the Indian one, for marketing.

For those who do not remember, Nokia 5.1 Plus is sold in Italy at 259 euros (by the way, Mehta has not mentioned any price changes) and is available with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of physical memory. The data sheet is then completed by a 5.86-inch display with HD + resolution (19- 9 aspect ratio), Helio P60, dual 16 + 16 MP rear cam and a battery of 3,060 mAh.
