The device should be called Nokia 5.1 Plus, but there is still a possibility that HMD Global decides to use another name, namely Nokia X5 (2018).

The poster was leaked on the Baidu website and states that the Nokia 5.1 Plus will be launched in China on July 11th in two storage options. The initial price of the smartphone is set at 799 Yuan (about 102 euros) for the 32 GB variant, while the 64 GB variant will have a price of 999 Yuan (about 128 euros). In addition, in the indiscretion, it is reiterated that the Nokia 5.1 Plus will present a “notch” integrated into the screen, a double camera on the back and a fingerprint sensor, in line with what emerged in previous renderings and on the TENAA website. In the poster, the Nokia 5.1 Plus is shown in the blue color, but it is almost certain that the day of the launch will be proposed also other color options.

According to the rumors that emerged on the web in recent weeks, the Nokia 5.1 Plus should have the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. In addition, the phone should be equipped with a 5.6-inch TFT HD + (720 × 1520 pixels) display with a 19 – 9 aspect ratio.

On the Baidu website, it is also suggested that there may be two other smartphones being processed, one with a Snapdragon 710 processor and another with Snapdragon 845. Previously there was the talk of a Nokia smartphone codenamed ‘Phoenix’, powered by a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, which could be announced at the IFA 2018, scheduled for September. The all-new Snapdragon 710 processor is more powerful than Snapdragon 660 but not as powerful as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which powers high-end devices.

The device with the Snapdragon 845 chip could also arrive with a fingerprint sensor integrated in the display – it is rumored that the name chosen by the Finnish company is Nokia A1 Plus.
