On January 7th OPPO R17 Pro King of Glory arrives, another special version of the Chinese smartphone

That of creating a special edition inspired by a film or any successful event is a very well-established fashion among all the major smartphone manufacturersOppo is certainly no exception, nor is it the first time that the Chinese company has ventured into the operation of this type. This time, the inspiration for the production of the new special edition is an online game of epic style very popular in China, King of Glory.

A game developed by Tencent Games, the same software house that deals with WeChat. The Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory will soon debut on these bases. The company has officially confirmed that the new special edition will debut next January 7th. An event that perhaps many fans expected.

In fact, it has not been long since the launch of the Ultra HD version of the video game in question. Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory, therefore, will come on the heels of this important event. All this is confirmed by an official video that the Chinese have published on Weibo. No indiscretion, however, is currently leaked on what will be the technical specifications of the smartphone.

We do not know, therefore, if these will be improved compared to the Oppo R17 Pro that the company has made official this summer. This will not be the only special edition of Oppo R17. The Chinese, in fact, have just made official the editions of Oppo R17 and Oppo R17 Pro dedicated to the New Year. In this case, both devices are dressed in red and present a theme focused on the year-end parties.

In this case, Oppo decided to keep the same specifications as the standard variants. It is not said, however, that this also occurs for the Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory. We just have to wait for future rumors or be patient until 7 January. In the meantime, let’s enjoy the official video teaser that you can find at the source here.
