We have made a full review of OnePlus 7 on this page but now our attention is turned to OnePlus 7 Pro, a smartphone that was announced mid month of April and was released mid month May 2019. It is a smartphone that came with very cool features admirable to smartphone users all around the world. The most noticeable specifications of the device lies in the display, the performance, storage, and battery features. Let’s take a deep look at the phone starting with the design and display.
Design and Display
The OnePlus 7 Pro is a slim phone that comes with metal body. The dimensions and weight has not been really determined but we know it is a dual SIM phone with fingerprint sensor. At the display, there is the IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of 16 million colors. The display size is 6.67 and it comes with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolutions. This department is full of good features corning gorilla glass, multi-touch, and others.
Camera Features
At the camera department, there is triple camera setup. The main one comes as a 48 MP, f/1.7, PDAF; another 16 MP, f/2.4, 13mm ultrawide, and 8 MP f/2.2 with depth sensor LED flash. One of the biggest highlights here is the HDR.

The software or the operating system for OnePlus 7 Pro is Android v9.0 Pie which comes with a modified user interface. Chipset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, while the CPU is Octa core Kryo 485. The GPU is Adreno 640. But it is on this level that one first gets to understand that the phone comes in three variants.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
Also, it is on this level that one can see that the phone comes in three variants. The first is made up of 6GB of RAM paired with 256GB internal storage, while the second is 10GB of RAM which is paired with 256GB internal storage. The third is 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB internal storage. However, it is cool to say that none of these variants come with a memory card. Sensors in the device are compass, gyro, proximity, accelerometer, and fingerprint which is placed under the display.
Network and Connectivity
This is a 4G Android. That means it has GSM, CDMA, HSPA, and LTE for network sake. A phone like OnePlus 7 Pro is able to make use of 2G, 3G, and 4G and can adapt as locations change. The adaptation is automatic. In case of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, microUSB 2.0, and FM radio. There is no infrared, NFC or HDMI in this phone.
Battery Power
Powering the OnePlus 7 Pro is a non-removable Li-Po 4300 mAh battery. This phone is empowered with fast battery charging tech but we can’t actually tell how many hours the user can go without charging the phone.
Price and Availability
Pricing for the 6GB RAM is in the range of $449, 10GB RAM goes for $729, and the 12GB RAM sells for around $810. As per availability, the phone has been released and is shipping to stores in select countries for now.
