The two smartphones share a similar front look due to their top-notch display and little bottom bezel. While the Huawei P20 Lite is made up of a front glass, plastic back, and aluminum frame. The Oppo F7 is made up of a front glass and plastic unibody. Oppo did a great job with the painting of the Oppo F7’s back, which looks more like a glass back from afar. The Huawei P20 Lite weighs just 145 grams with 7.4mm thick, which is considered light to handle. While the Oppo F7 weighs 158 grams with 7.8 mm thick.
The Huawei P20 Lite features a dual rear camera, which is placed in a vertical position at the top left corner. While the Oppo F7 features a single rear camera, also placed at the top left corner. And their fingerprint sensor is positioned at the back. The Huawei P20 Lite comes in three body color options; Klein Blue, Midnight Black, and Sakura Pink. While the Oppo F7 also comes in three body color options; Solar Red, Diamond Black and Moonlight Silver. The moonlight silver body color of the Oppo F7 is available for only the 64GB internal storage variant.

This category is where the Oppo F7 takes pride in. But let’s not forget that the P20 Lite’s senior brothers; P20 and P20 Pro have the best camera out there right now. The graphics of the P20 Lite is processed by Mali-T830 MP2 graphics processing unit. The P20 Lite runs on EMUI 8.0 skin on top Android 8.0 Oreo. And comes with a 4GB memory and either 32GB or 64GB internal storage.
While under the hood of the Oppo F7 is the Mediatek Helio P60 chipset. The chipset carries 4-cores Cortex-A73 reaching a speed of 2.0GHz and 4-cores Cortex-A53 reaching a speed of 2.0GHz. The Mali-G72 MP3 graphics processing unit is in charge of graphics in the Oppo F7. The Oppo F7 runs on ColorOS 5.0 skin on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
