Oppo Working on Smartphones with Expandable rolling Screen

Oppo is giving fans reasons to look to the future and confident of buying more innovative phones from the company. During its second annual event, known as the “Inno Day,” the company has again shown off what admirers can look forward to getting in 2024. Through its product concept ideas, it shows that the company is planning for smartphones with neo tech.

The most noticeable are smartphones with a rollable screen and a new set of AR glasses. The device may be called Oppo X 2021 if the manufacturer doesn’t change that name. For now, it remains a concept or an idea, and we all know that the company has made good many of its promises in the past.

Oppo claims that Oppo X 2021 is a product of intense research on flexible displays for modern devices. For example, OLED displays are known to be 6.7 inches on the surface area, but it can be expanded to squarer, like as in the case of 7.4 inches panel depending on what the use could be.

The company has developed its power train, structural plate, and screen laminate all in the bid to make sure durability is of high importance. Looking at both the front and rear of the concept phone, it will be good to look at. Although Oppo is not the first company touting this tech, as TCL reported about something like this earlier this year, experts are waiting to see how the products will differ from each other.

Oppo is expected to do better than TCL is because it is a more experienced manufacturer, and it has access to better raw materials to build on what it promises. TCL showed a paper prototype but Oppo showed a near-real concept of the Oppo X 2021. The company is well known for delivering well known weird phones with motorized designs.

The other new concept is Oppo AR Glass 2021. This product is nearly 75 percent lighter than the former product. It includes a stereo fisheye camera for gesture recognition a time-of-flight sensor, and a conventional RGB camera.
