Earlier today, POCO India finally told us what the name of its next device will be via Twitter. The company’s next smartphone will be the POCO M2 Pro just as anticipated by many fans. It plans to launch the phone on July 7. Over the past few weeks, we have seen a couple of leaks revealing different information about the phone.
For all those who were on the edge of their seat. It's time to #FeelTheSurge with the #POCOM2Pro.

The company is currently using the hashtag #FeelTheSurge to promote the phone just like it used the hashtag #SmoothAF to promote the POCO X2 earlier this year. Another thing both phones happen to have in commons is that they are both rebranded smartphones.
POCO India also shared a single video teaser and it published a microsite on Flipkart where it plans to put the phone on sale. From the video which is 10 seconds long, we can see the rear of the phone which looks just like the European variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Also, we recently reported that the model number the phone had on certification sites was M2003J6CI which is similar to phones in the Redmi Note 9 series. All these hints point in one direction- the POCO M2 Pro is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 series.
It also seems that POCO has made the POCO M2 Pro specifically for India. Anyway, we are sure to get more details of the smartphone over the coming days as the Flipkart page indicates a new teaser will be shared tomorrow.
