Samsung has brought the Galaxy J7+ which was recently launched in Thailand to China, and as is the company’s usual practice, the phone has been given another name; Samsung Galaxy C8.

The Samsung Galaxy C8 succeeds the Galaxy C7 that was launched in the country some months ago, and packs the same specifications and features that are found in the Galaxy J7+.

Design & Display
The Samsung Galaxy C8 has a metal unibody design, weighs 180 grammes and has a thickness measurement of 7.9 millimetres. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 * 1080 pixels) display which is made with Samsung’s Super AMOLED panels and is covered with 2.5D curved glass.
The C8’s design is the same as that of the Galaxy J7+ and similar to the recent smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy C series.
Storage & Processoer
The Galaxy C8 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 processor with eight processing cores running at a max speed of 2.39GHz on the 16nm process. Its graphics operations are handled by a Mali T880 GPU.
The phone comes in 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM storage variants, both of which have a microSD card slot for expanding the default internal storage capacity.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy C8 has it double at the back, featuring a 12MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP camera with f/1.9 aperture. A LED flash is also present at the rear to brighten up your photos.
The smartphone also sports a 16MP camera with a f/1.9 aperture at the front for taking selfies.
Battery & Connectivity
The Samsung Galaxy C8 packs a 3000mAh battery and comes with dual SIM slots and support for 4G VoLTE networks.
Software & Hardware
The Galaxy C8 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and features a fingerprint sensor which is embedded in its physical home button at the front.
