The South Korea company seems to be paying much attention these days on budget phones which is a good thing though because not everyone has enough money to buy the Galaxy Note series and others. Well, looking at the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core and the Galaxy J4, one might be tempted to ask the difference between both phones since they are on the budget category. The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core and the Galaxy J4 parade plastic on the body. The Galaxy J2 Core is lighter with body dimensions of 72.09 mm x 143.4 mm x 8.9 mm and it weighs 154 gram. As for the Samsung Galaxy J4, it features body dimensions of 5.97 in x 3.04 in x 0.32 in and weighs 175 gram. The Samsung Galaxy J2 arrived in a portable screen display size of 5 inches which is not that large nor too big. The screen has a resolution of 540 x 960 Pixels and TFT capacitive touchscreen display technology which is not that promising. The Samsung Galaxy J4 has a bigger screen size of 5.5 inches with an impressive 1280 x 720 Pixels resolution which will offer decent viewing experience to users. This phone is equipped with a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and it has a 71% screen to body ratio which is no match to the Galaxy J2 Core.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core has a single rear camera of 8 Megapixels f/2.2 with an LED flash and other great features for photos. On the Samsung Galaxy J4, you will be getting an upgrade of 13 Megapixels f/1.9 with an LED flash and other regulars. On the front, the Galaxy J2 Core pack 5 Megapixels f/2.2 for a selfie which is average, while the Samsung Galaxy J4 has 8 Megapixels f/2.2 with LED Flash up front. This arrangement shows that the Galaxy J4 will offer quality photos than it’s rival.

Both phones are powered by Samsung Exynos 7570 Quad Chipset with a quad-core processor that clocked at 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A53. Their processor is built with 14nm process technology and 4-core with ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics card. On the storage, the Samsung Galaxy J4 is offering 2GB of RAM with 16GB of inbuilt storage, while the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core has 1GB of RAM with 8GB of internal memory.

You can still expand the storage up to 128GB using a micro SD card. Powering the Galaxy J4 is Android 8.1 Oreo with a nonremovable battery capacity of 3000mAh that supports fast charging technology. The Galaxy J2 Core is powered by Android 8.1 Go Edition with a removable battery capacity of 2600mAh that does not support fast charging technology. Both phones support 4G LTE network with micro USB for charging and other connection.
