Samsung Galaxy Oxygen Lite 2021 Design & Display
It seems that out of all the Samsung Galaxy Oxygen series, this looks a bit different. Not that we are saying that it comes in low-quality materials; no, but that the design looks a bit bulky than that of the rest. Could be due to the large battery housed inside? Maybe. It also looks as if it will arrive in a somewhat dark grey color. Maybe it is dark but we have no word on how many colors this device comes in. Looking at the rear, we see the cameras lined up in a horizontal manner, and that’s not bad at all, since it tells us that this is a flagship offering.
This screen is a full view display with a thin bezel above and below but the back panel is made of metal, which gives it that premium and futuristic look.
Furthermore, we see that the display is 6.9 inches big, and there’s nothing mini about that. The Super AMOLED screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The display resolution is 2500 x 1080, which could be mini when compared to the others in this Oxygen series.
Oxygen Lite 2021 Network Connectivity
One special feature of this segment is the much talked about 5G network. If this device has it, then all the versions in the Oxygen series possess it too. Like the others, the device is able to switch automatically when the 5G network is not available. However, being a 5G network phone, it gives the user a kind of confidence that is rare.
Samsung Galaxy Oxygen Lite Processor
The processor is rich in features as far as we can see. Though not much information has been furnished for this department, it is clear that the chipset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. What better chipset to operate on a 5G phone! We have no information yet on the type of CPU or GPU this device has but the chipset can only be accompanied by high-quality components.
Samsung Galaxy Oxygen Premium Operating System
Android 11, the eleventh major release, and the 18th version of Android is found on the device. Even if you’ve heard about Android 12, this Android 11 is the latest release. It guarantees super performance and good looking user interface though we don’t know what it will look like at this time.
For the Samsung Galaxy Oxygen Lite, this version of Android means more privacy, and more security, along with other exciting user interfaces.
Galaxy Oxygen Lite Camera Features
This device has a moderate triple camera setup at the rear. These are 64 MP main cameras, followed by 16 MP, and 8 MP all at the rear. At the front, there is a powerful 40 MP selfie shooter to the delight of the user. Enjoy good quality selfies and video calls. Much has not been divulged in this segment, but there is evidence that the smartphone is able to handle high-quality images and videos.
Oxygen Lite RAM/ROM
This is where we find that the Galaxy Oxygen Lite is a three-variant smartphone. Not bad at all since buyers can choose any of these according to the storage factor and price.
For all three variants, there is 16 GB of RAM. It is at the ROM level we find the variants such as 128 GB + 256 GB + 512 GB. There is a rumored MicroSD card slot inside but we don’t know how far that could go in terms of external storage. However, there’s enough space and features that make gaming much easier on the device.
Samsung Galaxy Oxygen Lite Waterproof Technology
The device is certified IP69. It is protected against water and dust. So, make use of your smartphone confident that if rain finds you outside you can still take your calls or watch videos. No matter what, you need to take care as making use of the smartphone in the rain can lead to its falling off your hands. It is not a rugged smartphone, so we can’t assure you that you will pick it up in one piece if it falls.
Samsung Galaxy Oxygen Lite Sensors
Inside the Oxygen Lite, we find the various sensors. Fingerprint, Face ID, accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, and barometer sensors.
Oxygen Lite Sound
You won’t be disappointed, for Samsung is working on new and improved audio features, functions, and controls. We believe that Samsung’s Ultra High Quality (UHQ) audio playback capabilities will be present for this device to engage users with top-quality stereo sound. There’s also a 3.5 mm audio jack for earphones and headphones.
Oxygen Lite 2021 Battery Capacity
As we explained at the outset, the battery is huge. It is a Li-Po 7500 mAh non-removable battery that is accompanied by nice features that we have not been able to confirm. However, we have confirmed that it supports fast battery charging, although we are not sure it supports wireless charging.

Galaxy Oxygen Premium Price & Release Date
Wait for it, for experts are claiming it will arrive with a ridiculous price of $490 as the starting price. Others would love to put that starting price slightly below a thousand dollars. We wait to see what it will cost to own this high-end Samsung product.
Why Samsung Galaxy Oxygen Lite Is Worth It
Two or three things make this smartphone a nice buy. Let’s say you target the lowest among the variants. You will be buying a smartphone that is 16 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM, combine that with a 64 MP main camera, 40 MP selfie lens, and a 7500 mAh battery. All that for $490? That’s incredible but we wait to see what the realities will be when the device is finally in front of us.
